* Pedagogical formation education is not mandatory. It is optional. It does not affect graduation.
* Pedagogical formation allows you to provide education related to your FIELD.
* You can take formation courses starting from the spring semester of the third year. (4 fall + 4 spring, + Teaching Practice (2nd semester) total 9 courses)
* The Teaching Practice course is offered every semester. A student taking the formation course can take the Teaching Practice course in the second semester of the formation.
* You can take formation courses after the 6th semester (3rd year spring).
* Courses should be taken in two semesters.
* Teaching practice cannot be taken in the first semester cannot be taken.
* Those who do not take the first semester courses cannot take the "Teaching Practice" courses in the second semester.
* Students who take the first semester formation courses can take the teaching practice course in the second semester.
* Teaching practice is offered in the fall and spring semesters.
* The AKDS credits of the formation courses are separate from the credits of the regular semester courses.
* Teaching Practice can only be taken from schools within the borders of Burdur.
* For the Teaching Practice course, you must go to schools individually and conduct lessons with your subject teacher. Active participation in the course is mandatory.
* MEB teachers are assigned as mentor teachers in the Teaching Practice course. A teacher can mentor up to 6 students.
* The mentor teacher guides you in the lessons for 12 weeks.
* Students from units without a department teacher and department in Burdur cannot take the "Teaching Practice" course. (There are 3 IT teachers and 1 Land Registry teacher in Gölhisar.)
* The Teaching Practice course can only be taken from schools within the borders of Burdur. Those who do not take this course are not considered to have completed their education and "Has received formation education" will not be written on their diplomas.
* "Has received formation education" will not be written on the diplomas of those who do not complete the two-semester courses.
* The Teaching Practice course cannot be taken from other provinces.
* Students at the graduation stage can extend their graduation to after the formation education with a petition. The student rights of these students continue.
* Graduating students can graduate without completing the formation education if they wish. These students cannot take courses after graduation.
* Students taking the vocational education course in the enterprise cannot take the "Teaching Practice" course in the same semester.
* After graduation, you can receive pedagogical formation education from other universities. There is no technical difference between them.
* Pedagogical formation courses to be offered in the Spring semester:
- Educational Psychology, Online (courses will be conducted online live after 17:00 on weekdays. Attendance is mandatory.)
- Classroom Management, Online (courses will be conducted online live after 17:00 on weekdays. Attendance is mandatory.)
- Special Teaching Methods, Face-to-face (will be conducted face-to-face at the Burdur, İstiklal campus. Courses will be held on weekends.)
- Teaching Practice, Face-to-face (students in the second semester of formation can take it, will be conducted under the supervision of mentor teachers in MEB schools. A semester report will be prepared.)
- Instructional Technologies Online (in some departments) (courses will be conducted online live after 17:00 on weekdays. Attendance is mandatory.)
* Courses are offered in two semesters (Spring+Fall)
* The Teaching Practice course can be taken in the second semester (those who took the formation course in the previous semester).
* The Teaching Practice course will be held on Monday. It is mandatory to be present at the school for 8 hours and actively participate in the lessons.
* A year-end application report is prepared for the Teaching Practice course.
* The Teaching Practice course and the Vocational Education course in the enterprise cannot be taken together.
* Additionally, a formation certificate will not be provided. "Has received Pedagogical Formation Education" will be stated on your diploma.
* Students who take the formation course and fail can apply to the student affairs with a petition to have their courses deleted.
* The grades of the formation courses affect the overall grade point average.
* You can transfer the formation courses you have taken from other universities.
